Several times a year, the Religious Education Program Parent Advisory Council hosts a meeting of the parents of the children enrolled in the Program. The meetings are held in the Transfiguration School auditorium (29 Mott Street) while children are in class — Sunday, 10:15 to 11:20am.
The meetings are indicated in the Program Calendar.
The purpose of the meetings is threefold:
- bring to parent’s attention social matters that may affect their children: such as Internet safety, lock-down drills and health concerns;
- provide an opportunity for parents to meet one another, socialize and share child-raising tips; and
- involve parents in the faith formation of their children.
We invite parents [who are interested] to join the Religious Education Program Parent Advisory Council. Contact: Walter Coddington, CRE.
